Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CSK-L2)

 

The Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills is designed to introduce you to the core knowledge, skills, and values of counselling. It provides you with the confidence to use counselling skills safely and ethically, whether for personal development or within a professional role.

This course is ideal for:

​

  • Anyone starting their first stage of training towards becoming a professional counsellor.

  • People working in helping roles such as teaching, healthcare, social care, advocacy, mediation, or support work.

  • Those wishing to improve their communication and relationships in both personal and professional settings.

​

While this qualification on its own does not allow you to practise as a counsellor, it forms an essential first step on the counselling training pathway to Level 3 and beyond.

This course is an NCPS Recognised Qualification. It has been reviewed by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and meets the standards expected for introductory-level training in counselling and psychotherapy.

Entry Requirements: No previous experience or qualifications are required.

Instalment plan: £250 deposit + 7x monthly payments of £99 and a final payment of £55

Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CST-L3)

 

The Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies is designed for learners who have already completed a recognised qualification in counselling skills and are ready to take the next step in their training journey. 

This course is ideal for:

​

  • Learners progressing from the Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.

  • Anyone wanting to explore counselling theory in more depth before moving into practitioner-level training.

  • Those preparing for work in a professional counselling setting.

  • People working in helping roles such as healthcare, social care, education, advocacy, mediation, or support services, who wish to enhance their skills.

Completing this qualification will strengthen your ability to work as a skilled supporter in a wide range of roles. While it does not qualify you to practise as a counsellor, it is a key step towards becoming one and provides the foundation needed to progress to Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (TC-L4).

This course is an NCPS Recognised Qualification. It has been reviewed by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and meets the standards expected for introductory-level training in counselling and psychotherapy.

Entry Requirements: To enrol, you must have completed counselling skills training, such as the Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills or an equivalent qualification with at least 75 Guided Learning Hours.

Course costs: £1,110 (online course) (CPCAB fees included)

Instalment plan: £250 deposit + 8x monthly payments of £100 and a final payment of £60

Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – BACP Approved Practitioner Qualification (TC-L4)

 

This two-year qualification gives you the knowledge, skills, and practical experience to begin working as a therapeutic counsellor. This course is approved by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and certificated by the CPCAB creating a clear pathway to becoming a registered BACP counsellor.

​

This qualification equips you to:

​

  • Work as a therapeutic counsellor within an agency setting, in both healthcare and non-medical contexts.

  • Provide counselling services ethically and professionally under supervision.

  • Progress towards independent practice with further experience, support, or advanced study (such as Level 5 training).

​

To enrol on this course, you must have completed the Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills and the Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies, or equivalent qualifications.
